Mother Ocean Blue Limited ("we", "us", "our") runs this website and handles any enquiry you send us through it. What we collect
We only collect personal information when you choose to contact us. When you use one of our enquiry forms (on the Ocean Academy, CSR or Funding Hub pages) or email us directly, we receive:
- your name
- your organisation, if you give one
- your email address
- the message you write
We do not collect anything else, and we do not ask for sensitive personal information. Please do not send anything sensitive through these forms.
How your enquiry reaches us
Our enquiry forms do not store your details on this website. When you submit one, your browser opens your own email app with the message ready to send to info@motheroceanblue.org. Your enquiry then sits in our email inbox, the same as any email you send us.
Why we use your information
We use your details for one reason: to read your enquiry and reply to you. Data protection law lets us do this because it is in our legitimate interest to respond to people who contact us, and, where your enquiry is about working together, because we are taking steps at your request before any agreement.
We do not use your information for marketing. We will not add you to a mailing list, and we do not run a newsletter.
Who can see it
Your enquiry stays with us. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for marketing. A small number of providers help us run the basics:
- Our website is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (including IP addresses) to run the site and keep it secure.
- Our email is handled by our email provider, which stores the messages you send us.
These providers only process information on our behalf. Some of them may store data outside the UK. Where they do, that transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards.
Cookies and tracking
We do not use cookies. We do not run analytics, advertising or any other tracking on this website. Nothing follows you around after you leave.
How long we keep it
We keep your enquiry only as long as we need it to deal with your message and any follow-up, then we delete it. If your enquiry leads to ongoing work together, we keep the relevant correspondence for as long as that relationship needs.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the information we hold about you
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete your information
- restrict or object to how we use it
- provide your information in a portable format

Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK regulator, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
